TM Player ("we", "our", "us", or the "App") is an offline video and audio player designed to allow users to browse and play media stored on their Android devices.
We respect your privacy and are committed to being transparent about how the App accesses, uses, and handles information.
1. Information We Access
TM Player may access media stored on your device when you grant the required Android permissions or otherwise provide access through supported Android media/file-selection mechanisms.
Depending on your Android version and the features you use, the App may access:
- Video files
- Audio/music files
- Media file names
- Media duration
- File size
- Media thumbnails
- Album artwork
- Artist information
- Album information
- Media folders or media categories
- Playback position
- Favorites and playlists created within the App
This information is used to provide the core functionality of TM Player.
2. Local Media Files
TM Player is primarily an offline media player.
Your videos and audio files are intended to remain on your device. TM Player does not upload your personal media files to our servers for normal playback.
The App uses information about your locally stored media to:
- Display your videos and songs
- Generate or display thumbnails
- Organize media
- Search your media
- Play media
- Create playlists
- Remember playback positions
- Provide recently played and favorite features
If you choose to share, export, or open a file using another application, that action is controlled by you and the receiving application.
3. Storage and Media Permissions
TM Player requests only the permissions necessary to provide its media-player functionality.
Android permissions and available media-access methods may vary depending on your Android version.
You can manage or revoke permissions through your Android device settings.
If you deny required media access, some features such as browsing or playing locally stored media may not function correctly.
TM Player does not intentionally request access to unrelated personal information.
4. Information Stored Locally
Some application preferences may be stored locally on your device, including:
- Theme preference
- Player settings
- Playback position
- Recently played media
- Favorite media
- Playlist information
- Sorting preferences
- Other application settings
This information is used to provide and personalize the App's features.
5. Advertising
TM Player may use Google AdMob to display advertisements.
AdMob is a third-party advertising service provided by Google. Depending on the applicable settings, region, consent status, and Google's services, AdMob may process information such as:
- Advertising identifiers
- Device information
- IP address
- Approximate location derived from IP address
- Advertising and interaction information
- Information related to ad performance
Advertising providers may use information for purposes such as serving, measuring, and improving advertisements, subject to their applicable policies and settings.
TM Player does not control the information independently processed by Google through its advertising services.
For information about Google's privacy practices, users should review Google's Privacy & Terms documentation.
6. Advertising Choices
Depending on your location and applicable requirements, you may be presented with choices regarding personalized advertising or consent.
You may also be able to manage advertising-related settings through your Android device or Google account settings.
Where legally required, TM Player will use appropriate consent mechanisms before processing data for purposes that require user consent.
7. Third-Party Services
TM Player may use third-party services required to provide certain functionality.
Currently, this may include:
Google AdMob — advertising services.
Third-party SDKs may independently process certain device or advertising information according to their own policies.
We are responsible for ensuring that third-party SDKs integrated into TM Player are used consistently with applicable Google Play requirements.
8. Analytics
TM Player does not intentionally collect analytics or usage data unless an analytics service is specifically integrated into a future version of the App.
If analytics or crash-reporting services are added, this Privacy Policy will be updated to accurately describe the information collected, the purposes of processing, and the relevant third-party providers.
9. Personal Information
TM Player does not require users to create an account for normal offline media playback.
The App does not intentionally collect the following for its basic media-player functionality:
- Passwords
- Contacts
- SMS messages
- Call logs
- Personal emails
- Browsing history
- Health information
- Financial information
- Precise location
The App does not intentionally collect personal information unrelated to its functionality.
10. Location Information
TM Player does not request precise device location for its core media-player functionality.
If a third-party advertising service processes approximate location information, such processing may be performed by that service based on information such as IP address, applicable settings, and regional requirements.
11. Camera and Microphone
TM Player does not require camera or microphone access for normal offline video and audio playback.
The App will not intentionally record audio or video from your device unless a future feature specifically requires such functionality and the appropriate permission and disclosure are provided.
12. Internet Access
Basic local media playback does not require uploading your media files to our servers.
TM Player may use an internet connection for features such as:
- Displaying advertisements
- Loading advertising-related content
- Receiving required service configuration
- Other optional online functionality clearly identified in the App
The App does not require an internet connection simply to play media already stored on your device.
13. Data Sharing
TM Player does not sell your personal information.
We do not intentionally share your personal media files with third parties for advertising or unrelated purposes.
Information may be processed by third-party service providers when necessary to provide services integrated into the App, such as advertising.
Third-party providers may process information according to their own privacy policies and applicable laws.
14. Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect information handled by the App.
Local application settings and playback information are stored using appropriate Android mechanisms.
Where information is transmitted over the internet by the App or its service providers, appropriate security measures such as encrypted connections may be used.
However, no electronic storage or internet transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
15. Data Retention
Information stored locally by TM Player generally remains on your device until you:
- Delete the relevant application data
- Remove the relevant media
- Clear the App's storage
- Uninstall TM Player
- Change or remove relevant settings
TM Player does not maintain a server-side copy of your personal videos or music for normal offline playback.
Third-party service providers may retain information according to their own policies and applicable legal requirements.
16. Data Deletion
Because TM Player does not require an account for normal use, there is no TM Player account that needs to be deleted for basic offline playback.
You can delete locally stored TM Player data by using Android's application settings to clear the App's data or by uninstalling the App.
Your original videos and audio files stored outside the App's private storage are not automatically deleted when TM Player is uninstalled.
If you believe that information associated with TM Player has been processed by us and you have a privacy-related request, contact us at:
